Santa Ana Hill | A bird's eye view

Calle Agustín Blázquez y la Avenida del Mayorazgo

Description

Not so long ago, the arrival of ships from the Americas was celebrated here, or an alarm was raised when other – Moorish and Viking – ships were spotted approaching with warlike intentions. Home to the Ermita de Santa Ana (Ermitage of Saint Anne), this place is our great watchtower, the highest point from which you can gaze over and enjoy a landscape of beaches, salterns, pine forests, marshes and nature. From this balcony you can discover territories beyond our borders or enjoy that great natural jewel of diversity, the Bay of Cadiz Natural Park.
