The Wine and Salt Interpretation Centre comprises a three-room space devoted to SALT, providing information on salt exploitations throughout history, through photographs, audiovisual resources and informative texts. It also features another area dedicated to WINE: four rooms display the grape growing through panels, implements and photographs as well as Chiclana’s history with different audiovisual resources. Here is shown the vintage of Fino, Muscatel and other liqueur wines of Chiclana, included in the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry guarantee of origin. In addition to these two areas, the interpretation centre is also composed of a large central room for temporary exhibitions and other uses – called El Mar (The Sea)-, an introductory room – El Sol (The Sun)-, a workshop room for tastings and the reception, where a shop is located.
